Patrick Wolf, requested by ~pikdame.

This is not a reproduction of a reference photo, it's a free portrait out of my mind with the help of reference photos for his face, his clothing style, the violin and the wolves; therefore his facial features might be wrong.

I actually planned doing another background when I started but it would have taken away from PW himself so I've chosen a very simple one. Photoshop crashed meanwhile and I lost a lot of improvements I made after the last WIP pic's status, but well, I can't put any more time into it recently, so I must leave it this way for now...

*lol* Do you think so? XD In hindsight I think I should have listened to his music while drawing, I guess it would have ended up looking better than with Icky Thump XD

Doch! XD Er hat bei einem Interview gesagt, dass er auch von jedem das Profil anschaut, der ihn hinzufügt, und dass es ihn freut, dass er alternde Hausfrauen als Fans hat, aber auch ganz junge Leute etc. -.- *Sira meinen verträumten Eindruck von ihm kaputt machen will :p*

I, uh, don't know Icky Thump... lol. However, the feeling that I get from Patrick's music (at least my favourite stuff of him) is consistent with the mood of your picture. Actually, amazingly so. I listened mostly to him and Blonde Redhead the last days and so I am in that mood anyway. In some ways.. maybe you have to step back from a subject a little to accurately portray them. Whatever you did, this seems to have worked! It looks amazing. I think Patrick himself has become a little brighter/happier than this in style... but I started listening and liking him when this would fit very well. I still feel something like this when I listen to his stuff. Well, yes, it fits him perfectly. Not every view or version of him. But he is quite diverse and I don't think that it would be very easy at all to fit all of Patrick into a portrait! You did a really great job in capturing my favourite side of him and I love this picture! ^__^
