This has happened to me every time I have changed monitors so far. I've always gotten a better one and then my pictures look worse. This is, by far, the brightest monitor I've ever owned. ALL of my pictures look too bright on this... even the ones I previously thought looked too dark, lol.

At least... I'm very happy you have a monitor that won't hurt your eyes so much! ^^ You should take very good care of your eyes! :]

heres what u do
get some makeup pads.... (not tissue or cotton wool cus they just fall appart).... dip it in oil.... and smeer it alllll over ur screen

Yes? I never thought the iMac's monitor is that bright ^^ But I wonder why they're getting brighter and brighter, I always preferred less bright monitors -.-

Hmmm, I don't know. I just know it compared to other monitors that I've worked with. I don't prefer brighter either, lol. Your new desktop webcam looks quite shiny. ^^ That lighting somehow reminds me of being in a certain club... cool! lol
